Adrienne Perkins, R.Ac., is the owner of Pointed Relief, located in Slocan, BC. With a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, bodywork, and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Adrienne brings a grounded, attentive, and compassionate presence to her practice, which she has been honing for 14 years.
Adrienne was first drawn to the healing arts as a teen, originally accepted into university for nursing. But even before classes began, she realized her calling wasn’t in prescribing medications or managing symptoms—it was in getting to the root of what was going on, and offering care that was holistic, hands-on, and actually listened to the body. This led her to acupuncture, massage and eventually to craniosacral work, where she found a truly collaborative and empowering way to support people in their healing.
She now specializes in helping clients experiencing everyday aches and pains, chronic pain, nervous system overwhelm, and the impacts of stress. Her treatments combine acupuncture, therapeutic massage, and biodynamic craniosacral therapy—all within the same session. She begins with massage, follows with acupuncture, and then layers in craniosacral work to help the body integrate and release what it’s ready to let go of. It’s a gentle but powerful approach that respects the intelligence of the body and allows each session to unfold in real time, based on what’s most needed.
Adrienne believes healing shouldn’t feel clinical or rushed—it should feel personal, attuned, and deeply respectful.
Outside the clinic, she’s a parent, a wannabe gardener and a lover of nature, dance, joy and spontaneity!
And a quick heads-up: Adrienne is great at what she does in the treatment room—but her receptionist (also her) is not always as on top of things. If you don’t hear back right away, feel free to reach out again. Email, text, or call back—it’s not you, it’s just a one-woman show.
She’s truly looking forward to meeting you—and to the care, connection, and healing you’ll create together.
